2 Uighurs Released From Gitmo, Now In El Salvador

The Pentagon has released two ethnic Uighurs who have been held for years at the detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, without trial, reports the New York Times.

The men, identified by their lawyer as Ahmed Mohamed and Abdul Razak, were sent to El Salvador. This was the first prisoner transfer out of Guantanamo in 15 months, said officials.
