Two leading members of the Taliban in Afghanistan's northern Fayrab province have been killed in Afghan military operations, reports the Khaama Press.
Mawlavi Habib, a leader of the Taliban's elite Red Unit, was killed in the Almar district, the 209th Shaheen Corps said on Monday.
Mullah Sarwar, a member of the Taliban's shadow government in the district, was also killed in the operation.
The military recovered weapons and ammunition following the raid.
