Two soldiers have been killed in an attack on a border post in northern Benin, reports Reuters.
On Wednesday, suspected Islamist militants attacked a border post in the Porga region, killing two soldiers and injuring several more, the army said.
The previous day, militants attacked an army patrol in the Alibori department, according to an internal statement by army chief Col. Fructueux Gbaguidi reviewed by the news agency.
