Unidentified gunmen killed two Iranian policemen Monday in the city of Iranshahr in Sistan-Baluchistan province, Reuters reports.
The shooting came a day after the Sunni rebel group called Jundallah claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing in the southeastern province. That attack killed 42 people, including 15 members of the Revolutionary Guards.
It is unclear if the shooting of the policemen is linked to Sunday's bombing.
