Two Pakistani police officers have been killed in clashes with violent protesters in Lahore, reports Reuters.
Protests and sit-ins were called by the hardline Islamist Tehrik-i-Labaik Pakistan (TLP) group after its leader, Saad Rizvi, was arrested on Lahore on Monday.
He has been charged with instigating the murder of a police constable who was beaten to death by TLP members.
