Two South Korean air force pilots died Friday when their F-5 fighter jet crashed at sea during a training mission, Reuters reports.
The aircraft was last spotted on radar about 1.1 miles from an air base, a Defense Ministry official said.
Rescuers recovered the bodies from the crash site, he said.
North Korea was not believed to have been involved in the incident, said the official.
