The Chinese navy commissioned two new Jiangdao-class corvettes into service in November, reports the Diplomat (Tokyo).
The Guangyuan (552) was brought into service on Nov. 16, and the Suining (551) on Nov. 28 at a naval base in Guangzhou in the southern Guangdong province.
Both warships, in the Type 056A anti-submarine warfare configuration, have been assigned to the South Sea Fleet.
