Two people have been injured in a shooting at a mosque in southwestern France, reports CNN.
On Monday, an 84-year-old man tried to set fire to the door of a mosque in Bayonne. He was interrupted by two men, believed to be worshipers, when he opened fire, injuring them, reported the Guardian (U.K.).
Both were taken to the hospital.
The attacker set fire to a car and fled the scene. Police arrested him near his home east of the city.
