Two French soldiers on mission in the West African country of Burkina Faso have been suspended over allegations that they sexually abused children, reports France 24.
The soldiers were suspected "of engaging in acts of a sexual nature with two children," said the Ministry of Defense on Tuesday.
One of the alleged victims was a five-year-old girl.
