A Tajik National Guard helicopter was involved in a fatal crash on Wednesday morning in the eastern Rasht district, reports Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
At least 22 security personnel and four helicopter crewmembers were killed, while another four were injured, said a National Guard spokesman.
The Mi-8 helicopter was taking part in a combat mission against illegal armed groups in the region when it went down, reports Itar-Tass.
