2 Die In Shooting Near Synagogue In Halle

At least two people have been killed in a shooting near a synagogue in the eastern German city of Halle, reports Deutsche Welle. 

On Wednesday, shooting was reported near Humboldtstrasse on the same street as a synagogue, police said. Several people were injured, said a spokesman. 

One witness told the German daily Bild that a hand grenade was thrown into a Jewish cemetery.
