Tow South Korean air force pilots were killed on Friday when their surveillance plane crashed into a mountain over South Korean territory, Yonhap News (Seoul) reports.
The RF-4C reconnaissance plane went down during a "low-altitude" training flight near the rural town of Imsil in North Jeolla province, air force officials said.
"Wreckage was found on a mountain and a rescue operation is under way to retrieve the bodies of two airmen," an air force spokesman told AFP.
