An U.S. Air Force F-16 has crashed into a civilian plane in South Carolina, killing two on the smaller civilian aircraft, reports NBC News.
The fighter jet collided with a Cessna C150 near Charleston, just after 11 a.m., local time, on Tuesday, said officials.
The F-16, based at Shaw Air Force Base, was heading toward Charleston during routine instrument training. The pilot ejected safely, according to the Air Force.
