2 Damen Patrol Vessels Built, A First For South Africa

Damen Shipyards Cape Town (DSCT) in South Africa has completed building two patrol vessels, reports the Damen Shipyards Group in the Netherlands. DSCT is part of the Damen Shipyards Group.
The two FCS-5009 patrol vessels are the first of their type to be built in South Africa. Another patrol boat of the same class is already in service with the Cape Verdean coast guard.
