BAE Systems Australia says it has rolled out the first steel unit for the lead ship in a new class of frigates for the Australian navy.
On Wednesday, the steel prototyping unit for the Hunter-class frigate program was rolled out from the primary manufacturing hall at the Osborne Naval Shipyard in South Australia, the company said in a release.
