India has taken delivery of the first of 36 Rafale fighter jets from France, reports the Times of India (New Delhi).
On Tuesday, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh joined his French counterpart, Florence Parly, in a ceremony at Merignac in southwestern France to mark the delivery.
Singh sat in the two-seat jet as it flew its first sortie.
Indian pilots are scheduled to complete at least 1,500 flight hours on the jet in France as part of the testing and acceptance process, reported...
