1st Joint Patrol In Syrian Buffer Zone Held With U.S. Forces

Turkish troops have joined their U.S. counterparts for their first joint patrol along the Turkish-Syrian border, reports CNN. 

On Sunday, Turkish and U.S. military vehicles and two helicopters entered Syria near Tel Abyad and patrolled for several hours before returning, reported Reuters. 

Joint land and air patrols are scheduled to continue over the next several days, reported Turkey's Anadolu Agency.
