Pirates have kidnapped 19 crewmembers from a Greek oil tanker operating in the Gulf of Guinea, reports Defence Web (South Africa).
On Dec. 3, the pirates attacked the tanker approximately 100 nautical miles (185 km) south of Bonny Island, Nigeria.
The kidnapped included 18 Indian citizens and one Turkish citizen. Seven personnel were left aboard the vessel.
The tanker was undamaged.
