16 Police Die In Black Hawk Crash During Anti-Narcotics Operation

A police helicopter on an anti-drug operation has crashed in northwest Colombia, killing at least 16 officers, reports the BBC.
On Tuesday, the police were on their way to arrest the leader of the Usuga Clan, a drug-smuggling gang, when their Black Hawk crashed into a remote area in Antioquia, about 280 miles northwest of Bogota, said officials.
The crash was likely caused by a technical failure, according to early reports.
