14 Rebels Die In Fighting in Northwest

Burundian police have killed 14 suspected militants in clashes in the northwestern Bubanza province, reports the BBC News.
On Tuesday, security forces clashed with gunmen in the Musigasi district. Fighting lasted most of the day, said a lawmaker who was visiting the area.
The attackers entered from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, along Burundi's eastern border, said the lawmaker.
