Fighting between Philippine security forces and Abu Sayyaf militants in the country's south has left 14 dead, says the military, as reported by Agence France-Presse.
Troops encountered as many as 150 members of the terrorist group on Friday on the in Patikul in Sulu province, said a regional military spokesman cited by GMA (Philippines).
