An apparent suicide bomber attacked a Pakistani paramilitary convoy Monday in the Shangla district near Swat Valley, the Voice of America News reports.
At least 41 people were killed and 45 were injured, reported Agence France-Presse. Six of those killed were military personnel.
"It was a suicide blast. The attacker was on foot," said an army spokesman, as quoted by the Daily Telegraph (U.K). The military said that the bomber was a 13-year-old boy.
