12 Gunboats From Malaysia To Secure Inland Waterways

The Nigerian government has purchased a dozen gunboats to secure the nation's inland waterways, reports the Leadership (Abuja).

Twelve gunboats are being imported from Malaysia at a cost of US$4.9 million, according to Alhaji Aminu Yar'Adua, the head of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) told the News Agency of Nigeria.
