At least 11 Afghan police officers have been killed or wounded in an attack in the northern Balkh province, reports the Tolo News (Kabul).
On Tuesday, about 400 Taliban fighters attacked a police station in the Shortepa district, a provincial spokesman told Agence France-Presse.
The Taliban suffered several casualties in the attack, although specific figures were not available, he said.
