The Japanese Embassy in Kabul has announced that Tokyo will fund US$106.7 million in humanitarian projects in Afghanistan, reports the Khaama Press (Kabul).
The funds, intended to support humanitarian programs and basic needs, will be distributed by the United Nations and 16 other international and nongovernmental agencies.
This is the third Japanese aid package, bringing total assistance to US$335 million since August 2021.
