The U.S. Naval Air Systems Command has awarded a contract to Insitu, Bingen, Wash., a Boeing subsidiary, for unmanned aircraft for the Philippines, reports the Dept. of Defense.
The US$10 million Foreign Military Sales deal covers six ScanEagle unmanned aircraft systems, support equipment and spare parts, training and support for the Philippine military, said the DoD release on Sept. 18.
