Russia will send 10 MiG-29s to Lebanon, according to Lebanese Defense Minister Elias Murr, reports Agence France-Presse.
The fighter announcement was made following talks between Murr and Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov.
The aircraft "will be sold at a hefty discount," said one Russian government official, quoted by RIA Novosti.
