An investigation is underway after a helicopter accident at Camp Lejeune, N.C., on Wednesday.
A U.S. Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion heavy-lift helicopter made a hard landing during a training exercise, reports USNI News.
The aircraft came down on Wednesday night, killing one Marine and injuring at least nine others, Marine officials said on Thursday.
Other accounts said 11 were injured. NBC News said nine were released from the hospital.
