An Australian army CH-47D Chinook helicopter has crashed in Afghanistan, killing one, reports Flight International.
The Chinook was taking part in a resupply mission east of Tarin Kowt in Afghanistan's southern Uruzgan province when it went down, according to Australian officials.
One passenger, a lieutenant, was killed and five were injured in the incident on Monday, said a government release.
