Air Force officials say the service's expensive new logistics management system has proven to be a failure, reports the Federal Times.
The system cost $1 billion and seven years of work.
The service is attempting to determine what can be salvaged from the Expeditionary Combat Support System. A report is expected to be provided to Congress next month.
