Brunei

Geopolitical Environment. Brunei faces the traditional problem confronting many small countries: it simply does not have the manpower necessary to run a potent, full-spectrum defense force. Instead, Brunei relies on a battalion of troops supplied by the British to bolster its local forces. Without a domestic defense base, Brunei is also completely dependent upon foreign providers as its source of military supply.
