Venezuela borders the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean (1,740 miles), and has extensive borders with Brazil, Guyana and Colombia (3,100 miles). Venezuela's land borders with its neighbors largely span the vast and unpopulated expanse of the north Amazon River basin.
