OVERVIEW The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Al-Mamlaka al-'Arabiyah al-Sa'udiyah) is located on the Arabian peninsula and is bordered on the northeast by the Persian Gulf and on the southwest by the Red Sea, and shares land borders with Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Yemen, Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
