The Afghan air force, officially the Afghan National Army Air Force, is the air component of the Afghan armed forces. It is responsible for aerial attack missions and air mobility for the Afghan army. The service also takes on a variety of logistics and humanitarian missions.

Afghan National Army Air Corps became the Afghan National Army Air Force -- also known as the Afghan Air Force -- in June 2010.
