Ongoing Programs and Future Requirements

In September 2008, Germany made good on a May 2007 agreement to provide the Namibian military with an integrated logistics system. The donated system was designed to connect the military branches, minimize workload and improve efficiency. In the two years prior, Germany donated equipment to the Namibian armed forces, including more than 200 computers, to lay the groundwork for the new logistics system.
