4 FAST PATROL CRAFT (ex-North Korean Nampo class)
description
These are variants of the North Korean Nampo-class landing craft, without bow ramps and employed as patrol craft. They are very lightly armed.
status
North Korea transferred these 4 craft to Tanzania in 1979-1981. All were inactive as of 1987.
The North Korean Navy operates a large number of these craft in the amphibious assault role/raiding roles.
