The Casspir 4 x 4 armored personnel carrier (APC) is based on a British Bedford truck chassis, but has a body that emphasizes anti-mine protection and mobility in bushy terrain.

Casspirs are designed to be self-sustaining for five to seven days and are fitted with towing equipment (rear hook, front towing pin) as well as a 53-gal (200-liter) water tank.
