A fire burns in the ethnic Rakhine village of Let Kar in the Mrauk-U township
in Burma's western Rakhine state on May 16 in this image released by the
Burmese army. The region has seen heavy fighting between the government
and Arakan Army rebels. Human Rights Watch said that satellite photos of Let
Kar showed that about 200 buildings were burned. The imagery resembled that
of previous army arson attacks against ethnic Rohingya settlements in Rakhine.
