Uzbek Forces Decide To Avoid SCO Drills

The Tajik Defense Ministry says that Uzbekistan has decided not to participate in this week's Peace Mission exercise involving the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) that is being hosted by the Tajik government, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).

The drills, which are set for June 7-14, will involve all the other SCO members, including China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
