U.S. Continues Air Campaign Against Al-Shabaab

The U.S. has continued air attacks against Al-Shabaab militants in Somalia after the final American troops left the country, reports U.S. Africa Command.

On Tuesday, AFRICOM conducted two airstrikes near Jamaame in the Lower Juba region and Deb Scinnele in the Lower Shabelle region.

Three Al-Shabaab militants, known to be involved in the production of improvised explosive devices, training of fighters and planning of attacks, were killed in the strikes, the command said.
