A United Nations report says there is "overwhelming evidence" that Rwanda has been aiding rebels in the Democratic Republic of Congo despite the existence of an international an arms embargo, reports Agence France-Presse.
Senior Rwandan military officers "in their official capacities, have been backstopping the rebels through providing weapons, military supplies and new recruits," the report says.
