The leaders of South Korea and Vietnam have agreed to boost bilateral relations to a "strategic cooperative partnership," reports the Yonhap News Agency (South Korea).
President Lee Myung-bak of South Korea and his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Minh Triet, meeting in Hanoi, pledged to establish links between their defense and foreign ministries to strengthen cooperative security and political ties.
