Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh is being treated in Saudi Arabia for injuries sustained in a rocket strike late last week, say Saudi officials cited by Bloomberg News.
Saleh was wounded Friday when a rocket hit a mosque in his compound, said officials.
Yemeni forces blamed the attack on forces loyal to opposition tribal leader Sadiq al-Ahmar, reported Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
The president arrived in Riyadh on Sunday for surgery, said officials.
