The Chinese and Russian navies are about to begin the second phase of a bilateral naval exercise, reports the South China Morning Post.
The first phase was held in July, with Chinese ships sailing to the Baltic Sea.
On Sept. 13, a Chinese destroyer, frigate, supply ship and submarine rescue vessel set sail from Qingdao for the training, which runs from Sept. 18 to Sept. 26 in the Sea of Japan and Sea of Okhotsk, according to a Chinese navy statement.
