Germany has temporarily shut its embassy and consular offices in Turkey due to fears of possible terror attacks, reports Deutsche Welle.
The German Bild newspaper reported that Wednesday's closing was prompted by rumored attacks during the Muslim Eid al-Adha holiday week.
The Foreign Ministry confirmed that the embassy and other offices would be closed from Sept. 12 to Sept. 16. It declined to comment on the Bild report.
