Gunmen have attacked a provincial government compound in central Iraq, reports RTT News.
At least eight people were killed and more than two dozen wounded on Tuesday morning in the city of Baquba, the capital of Diyala province, said security officials.
The attackers stormed the building after detonating two car bombs outside, according to witnesses.
There were unconfirmed reports that the attackers took hostages.
Diyala was once considered the hotbed of Al-Qaida in Iraq...
