New Delhi Vows To Help Afghan Security Forces

The government of India has committed to help strengthen Afghanistan's security forces, reports Agence France-Presse.

Afghan Defense Minister Abdul Rahim Wardak asked for assistance during a meeting with his Indian counterpart, A.K. Antony, in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Antony "conveyed the government of India's willingness to work with the Afghan government in building the capabilities of Afghan security forces," an Indian statement said.
