The new Liberal government in Canada is postponing approval for a pending deal to convert a civilian cargo ship into a military supply vessel, reports CBC News.
In October, the previous Conservative government finalized a seven-year, Can$700 million (US$527 million) contract with Quebec shipbuilder Chantier Davie.
The deal was dependent on Cabinet approval, which was expected after a meeting last week.
