Naval Group Installs 3D-Printed Propeller On Minesweeper

In a first, Naval Group has equipped a French navy mine warfare vessel with a 3D-printed propeller, reports the shipbuilder.
The propeller completed construction and left Naval Group’s Nante-Indret workshop in October 2020.
Work to install it on the Andromede minehunter began in November, Naval Group said in a Jan. 13 release.
The ship completed sea trials with the propeller in December and is set to return to normal operations, reported Defense News.
