More Missiles Ordered For NASAMS Air Defense Systems

The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense has announced that it will procure additional missiles for its National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASAMS).
Earlier in December, Lithuanian air force chief Col. Dainius Guzas signed a technical agreement with the Norwegian Defense Material Agency for an undisclosed number of NASAMS combat and inert missiles, said a ministry release on Dec. 27.
Additional details of the agreement were not disclosed.
